In a joint statement released yesterday, May 16 , Apple and Motorola Mobility Google expressed their willingness to give as complete the litigation between them.
This decision was delivered to the Federal Court of Washington and has the intention to terminate the processes where the two companies are involved , relating to patents in the mobile segment .
The conflict between Motorola and Apple lasted for four years now , since the Motorola reported a series of patent infringements by Apple , this conflict , when inherited by the Google acquisition of Motorola in 2012 .
According to Reuters , the statement can be read that Apple and Google also agreed to work together in some areas of patent reform .
The agreement makes clear that the end of legal dispute only affects giants Google and Apple , which means that the process that the Cupertino company remains against Samsung , where Google is one of the actors , not part of this agreement.
This decision opens up very attractive to the mobile technology market precedents. Although a decision desired by many , it seemed that this was a war without end in sight .
